We encourage students to pay their tuition by personal check, bank check, or postal money order. Please make checks payable to Whetstone School of Lutherie.
We also accept PayPal payments, but it's our policy to add their processing fee to your invoice. The fees are currently 2.9% for domestic payments, and 3.9% for international transactions. Please let us know if you want to use this service and we'll send you a PayPal invoice.
Domestic and international wire tranfers can also be arranged on a case by case basis.
Terms of Enrollment
All classes are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. We must receive your deposit within 14 days of registration to confirm your enrollment. Please see the class description for tuition information.
Your deposit reserves a spot in the class and is non-refundable. Provided you notify us at least 60 days before the start of your class, you may apply your deposit towards another class within one year of your cancellation date. Payment in full will be expected at that time.
The tuition balance must be paid in full 30 days before the start of your class, or we reserve the right to cancel your reservation. No refunds or allowances will be granted after 30 days prior to the start of your class.
